Site Selection Analysis

We obtained information about the site selection process through a Freedom Of Information request.  We will be looking at the details and releasing our findings daily here and in our Facebook group.

Jan 11:  Neighbourhood Compatibility

Currently, there is no neighbourhood in or around the County Rd 42 Site.  There is none officially planned either, in spite of what you might hear from the Mega-hospital Steering Committee.

The image to the right is what Windsor's Official Plan has to say about the area.  It's an agricultural area, not a neighbourhood.

By contrast, Windsor Metropolitan Hospital - Met Campus has been a mainstay in the same Walkerville neighbourhood for a century.

We find it very difficult to understand how anybody can objectively award a score of 30% to a site in the same neighbourhood.
