The following 2 tables compare the distance and return taxi fare from a central point in each Windsor ward as well as each municipality served by Windsor Regional Hospital to the closest of the current two campuses of WRH and to the proposed site on County Rd 42.  They form the basis of the bar graphs above.

This map, taken from Google Maps, illustrates very clearly how detached the proposed site of the new hospital is from the city.  Its location at the far end of the airport land means there is no direct way to access it.  It is immediately clear that this major community institution will not be anchored in the heart of Windsor.
